"Back in October of 2015 my family and I were desperately looking for a place to rent. We tried looking for our own listing and every time it was a disappointment. Either to small or in a bad neighborhood just not a very pleasant experience. On top of all that the move had to happen before the 30th of November as I was beginning my new career working for the Department Of TheTreasury and the commute from my previous residence would make it impossible. Then one day after looking at some nightmarish listings in a neighboring town in Patchogue, my wife says we may need to get a realtor to help us out. I was skeptical at first, plus I've heard of realtors that don't really go above and beyond to find what your looking for, rather after their own commissions. Jennifer Shanahan is an angel sent from heaven I have to say. From the time we met her and set up the first couple of viewings till the last, we realized how incredible this women is as a realtor and a person who only wants whats best for her clients. Having some credit issues with a failed business venture we saw over a dozen listings which would not want to work with us or chose other applicants. Even as the deadline approached and most realtors would have called it quits given that even with a sizable commission they would probably at best break even from the expenditures involved. She not only stuck it out with us but found for us an entire house and managed to talk down the rental price from 2,200.00 dollars to 2,000.00 dollars. And negotiated a 2 year lease with some expenses included and a freeze on a future increase in rent. My wife, I and two kids 4 and 1 years of age and they love this place. We have over 2200 square feet of front lawn, another 5000 square feet in the back, full basement with central air in a two bedroom house located in a cul de sac with great neighbors to boot. We have even considered buying this house one day and if so we will only deal with Jennifer otherwise no dice. So if your looking for someone that will go above and beyond and find you the perfect place to live in, even exceeding your own expectations you know who to call."
